1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the product is used. This page explains which categories NEXTbite360 uses and how you control each one.

2. Categories we use

Essential

Required for the product to function — authentication session, CSRF protection, consent state, and transient caches used by the onboarding flow. These cannot be disabled without breaking the product; no user opt-out is offered.

  • __session, __clerk_* — Clerk authentication session.
  • nb360_consent_pending, nb360_meta_hint — short-lived cookies that prevent redirect loops during the consent and onboarding flows.

Analytics

Aggregate usage metrics that help us prioritise which features to improve. No analytics tool runs until you accept it from the cookie banner. EU / UK / EEA visitors see an opt-in banner by default; other regions see a dismissable banner that you can reject at will from your account settings.

Marketing

We do not currently run advertising cookies. If this changes we will update this page and re-prompt you via the consent banner.

3. Cookies and AI processing

Cookies are not used to send your formulation content to third-party AI processors. Your inputs are sent to Google, Anthropic, or OpenAI only when you explicitly submit a query; see the AI Training and Improvement section of the Privacy Policy for detail.

4. Managing your preferences

  1. Cookie banner — Accept or Reject on first visit. You can re-open it from the footer link on every public page.
  2. Browser settings — Every major browser lets you block or clear cookies for a specific site. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and prevent the app from loading.
  3. Global Privacy Control — If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a rejection of analytics without requiring you to interact with the banner.

5. Retention

Essential session cookies expire when you sign out or at the end of the Clerk session. The consent-state cookies are set for a maximum of ten minutes at a time to bridge policy-version transitions. Analytics cookies, when enabled, persist for up to thirteen months per ICO / CNIL guidance.

6. Contact
